Oh found the answer myself.......went through the rules page over and over, I think its fine to colour balance and adjust tone contrast etc...BUT STRICTLY NO PAINTOVER.
Since the final model must be rendered in Lagoa and it nowhere says that the final submitted image have to be pure lagoa render without any Photoshop color adjustment.

Winners still being selected!

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know, the winners are still being chosen by the judges so it might be a few more days until we can announce them. Sorry for the delay, there were some great entries so I'm sure it's tough deciding which ones are the best!

Hopefully we will have an announcement soon

Winners announced!

The winners of the Lagoa Space Girl competition have been selected!

First prize - Oskars Dzenis

Judges’ comments: This scene in Lagoa used so many different elements to create the final effect. It has cool lighting, and is a fun composition. For us this was the clear winner.

Second prize - Arnab Roy

Judges’ comments: A good use of many features in Lagoa (with a little PS at the end) An interesting retro theme and colorful subject gave this the edge.

Third prize - Ng Jian Han

Judges’ comments: This classic sci-fi shot made great use of mesh lighting, and the materials helped set the atmosphere well.

Congratulations to the winners and well done to everyone who entered - there were some truly great space girls!
