Quick WIP render of the skeleton. Free model from the web, modified, textured and rendered in max...

2nd image shows beginning of work on lighting and camera angles...

Quite basic texturing, but most of this will be done later in Photoshop. This is about the extent of the 3D work, apart from a few foreground details. From here on in it's mainly photoshop/painting....

I loved the sketch from the first moment I layed eyes on it.
Great to see the old, long forgotten dragons cave beeing discovered after centuries by alpinists. Setting the scene in current time (or at least not more than just a few centurys ago) is a great idea.

And now beginning the paint-work to bring it all together. I've also flipped the composition, to make it read a bit better. Quite a bit more to painting do on this. Updates soon...
