jnumber9 : its max 2009. Max has had viewport shadows since 2008, you just need to turn them on.

otherwise we've got shorts and other detaily bits.

I need to think on the backpack and do some more drawings but I reckon the body can go off to zbrush as it is

good shapes, forms. Like the way the weight of the model moves the eye from the top down.

will all straps be fabric based? or will a few like the ones on the boots have a metal background.

I've decided her face is too small but it's an easy enough fix and im generally pretty happy with the way she's shaping up so far

straps will be leather for the most part but I think I know where you're heading and its certainly under consideration.


The backpack is proving to be a bit of a pig design wise, Im torn between wanting it to look like the front of a 19th century pump organ or an art deco radio.
