Which means I have to google every 3D-Movie if it was made in 3D or just converted before I buy it. I knew that the new Harry Potter-Movies will just be converted to 3D, but it seems that this behavior becomes the norm.

Money rules the world, no matter if you have to sell sh*** to get it

If that is true, that will wreck 3D. Converting it will never ever look as good as it being filmed in 3D... That sucks.

For instance, parts of Superman I saw at Imax were converted into 3D, and it wasn't the same as a true 3D film.

They better not start doing that. Just film in 3D, and leave the old films as they are.

The link won't work for me, so I'm assuming Nupsi is right on what he said, haha.

I don't get this obsession with 3D ... am I the only one who ends up feeling vaguely travel sick when watching a 3D film? Was horrified when I heard about all the plans to turn up and coming films into 3D - hands off Harry Potter!!

Thread: 'Avatar' Producer: 3D Mania Is 'Crazy,' But 4D 'Avatar' Works

One of the possible impacts Avatar will have is on home entertainment, believe it or not. James Cameron
has already begun working with Panasonic on 3-D televisions, and now the first wave of those TVs is ready to hit the Japanese market. But be prepared to pay out the nose for one. ...
