SMC #04-Diegosword- Xplorer D

well after a few weeks of study i have time again to participate in this challenge. This time i will try to create a futuristic solar power explorer drill.

have u tried making the spikes on the model match the size of the spikes in the concept? I think the tire spikes should be a little bigger on the model.

Final model

final model after 240 minutes. The drill is extended when it is going to be used and is retracted when the unit has to move.

And TNTxGRAVE i try to use bigger spikes but they seem too unreal. That's why i choose to use the small ones.

the wireframe views. I think i collapsed the tire at some point with turbosmooth that's why there are so many edges.
