i under the impression that each team can do 3d or 2d, so with that said will the 2d be some where in this section?

Awesome!!! it finally begins, I have a few sketches I might consider. basically Im going with a Demon lord and a few Imps flying around him as summons. Awaiting the thread starting although I see other forums such as polycount and cgtalk.ru who already began to make threads. any news from Fred?

Hey guys. I'm back but brand new (I was user Jido on here, but forgot password and no longer use whatever email address I had on here).

Had a very very tough year, but now I have a new Job (iContact.com),
New Computer (from AMD Duron and 768Mb of RAM to Phenom X4 and 8Gb),
new username, and a new opportunity to put some ground into 3D.

It's been about 3 years since doing a finished, complete work in 3D. Tried a number of times on GA comps, and tried twice siding with 3DT in DW2 and DW3.

But hopefully I won't have to put up with any BS this time around and get further than I did before.

When they say any shader is a allowed, does that include Mental Ray, Vray, ect shaders too? And can I build a shader tree as well?

Finally! I will enter, not sure if I'll finish since I'm moving to Seattle in the middle of this competition (worst timing ever). Definitely looking at two weeks of downtime for certain, I'll try my best with the time Ive got though.

Monte sorry to hear you wont be entering this year, but congrats on the addition to your family.
