I agree, Its very surreal... but the execution is great! I love the fireball thingee... but could really tell what was happening. Anyway good luck!

haha, thanks man, you too. If you have ever seen the movie "Sunshine" its heavily based on that only instead of the sun getting Decayed by a "Q-Ball" it is the earth

I should do a small animation of this and make the ball animated and add a few extra effects for fun

Nice. Works as a surreal image. As a matte painting though, needs more work on 'grounding' the elements on the right hand side. Also the fence would probably benefit from being at a more dramatic angle.
