Akira was the first Anime/Manga style of animation I was introduced too, fell in love with the visual style nearly straight away, was amazed on the flow of the animation aswell as the attention to detailing, moved from Akira to Ghost In The Shell, Street Fighter II The Animated Movie, Gundam & Guyver soon after, and been hooked ever since. The only thing that I never understood when I was young was the dialogue always seems quite rushed, since learned that it's down the the majority of the animations were created in the native dialect and so 90% had to be over dubbed for Western audiences. Looking forward to the next part that was a good read, thanks
