Question [3DS Max(vray)] Choose renderer for animation

Hello ! (This is my first thread on this site, let me know if I'm doing something wrong)

So I'm not really a beginner in the 3D field, I like to touch a bit of everything, modelling, texturing, animation, ... So feel free to talk technical if needed

So now that I feel confident with my (still unproved) skills, I want to get into some real creation and bake my fist "short clip/animation/movie".

My only problem, I'm not too sure about which renderer to choose, mainly for efficiency reasons. I'm usually using vray (v. 3.40.01) for basic prints, but I've never tried it for clips. So is it reasonable to use it for a 2-3 minute movie or should I look for something else ?

Thanks !
Ya boy
