I'm in if I can find the time again. I'll be looking for crits this time guys, I only come to these to get better at sculpting so please help me out and tear my stuff apart lol. I can take the pain. I'll be focusing mainly on anatomy and form this time around. (I really wish mudbox had posing tools!)

I think Im in... A
n abominable snowman is a must-have for my portfolio. I hope to fund the time to finish.
Just one question: Can the basemesh have multiple pieces, for examples one mesh for the snowman,
one mesh for the arms and the carrot and another one for slime he spits around

You have free reign over your basemeshes.

I may give this a go.... did a test run in photoshop with the recording software and it crashed on me after a couple hours and trying to save. In previous challenges have people had this problem or is the trick chopping the recording sessions into smaller bits?

Here's mine!

I couldn't avoid it, this was a sculpt I did for the previous challenge about mythical creatures. I'll try to make another one!

haha, Maxter, you're fast

Now, if you could apply that nice technique for fur into your sculpt for this contest, I'm sure it'll turn out great.

I had a problem with crashing a couple of times. I found if I saved it out in chunks, like every hour or 2 it was fine.

Hope this helps, it's very frustrating to lose hours of video.

I also had this problem but in my specific case i just have to whait and it saves
normaly, it starts to blink saying the program is not responding and after a while it is saved correctly, if it happens again try to whait a bit without
trying to push any buttons in the window,
When it is saved it opens a window with the video, that's the "sign" you must whait LOL
Actually it happens almost in every recording section but ends up saving normally.

Cheers
Fernando

far away, nice concept! Very stylized!

Just got one question that isn't mentionned in the rules, is the time used to pose the character counting in the time limit?

MightyReg, yes it is, since it's part of the sculpting process.
