Particles: Sparks

3DS Max 2010
I want to create a scene with shots from a gatling bouncing off armored plate with sparks from each bullet, as doing this manually would take a lot of time, I tried using particle view and an array, and while I created the gatling particles, when they hit the object, i am using, sparks appear from all the surfaces, is there a way for the sparks to only appear from the area that was hit?

sounds like you need to make the particle from the Gatling spawn more particles on collision with the floors/walls surface

You can do that with Pflow, few deflectors, gravity.
Actually, I got some spare time, and I did it.
It's just a basic setup, but you can build from there.
