BTW, sorry for small image size, but thos vray displacements take an awful long time to render...

hey this is getting better and better...ur model will be better than mine (the one i'm going to build some day )..nice going...i hope u won't get bored and dump it ....do u have some plans with the model...are u going to make some animations maybe?

well, seems that the modelling takes a lot of time, so i havent made any plans yet.
Animation could be possible, dunno. Maybe a little camera flyaround or something...

BTW, a little LOTR question. What siege weapons besides ladders did the orcs use when attacking helm's deep? watched the movie a long time ago, so i dont remember. From pictures i know the at least used ladders...

well the Isengard weponry is:
-small ladders
-large ladders
-balista
-the bullhead(i don't really know how it's called..the one they smashed the gates....)
-the mine with the explosiv...
are u planning on modeling Uruk'hais as well?

M_B: thanks, man. The prob with Uruk'hais are that i'm a total n00b with organic modelling. So, i dunno...oh, and btw i eagerly await your plans, its hard to get the proportions right just from the pics...

The_Caveman: Thanks, i already got that one. I have about 40 refs now...

EDIT: Does anybody know where i can get LOTR soundfiles? Not the OST, i got that, but warchants, sound FX and stuff...

hehehe...maybe we will be hired in The Hobbit ...anyway..about the drawings...i hope i have time......u r model is getting better and better...and one comment - the bridge it's not that curved....i hope to see some updates soon...
PS: there are enough refs in the movie to make ur model anyway...all u need it's a good eye
