The Sunflower Fountain

Hi Everyone. I wanne show you all me latest project. The Sunflower Fountain. I have been working on this project for about a month and a half. Its been a though job to create this scene. Actually it is 2 scenes in one. The Sunflower Fountain is actualy a scene, that is on the painting. The texturing is all painted by myself, so also that took me a while to create everything. I hope you like this new project........

Nice. Not sure I like the dead leaves flying around the scene, well, the closer one at least is kinda disturbing.

Anyway, great job mate.

Its actualy a Room of someone that has no family, actualy nothing to live for , except for the sunflower. He loves this flowers, and actually everywhere around the house are these sunflowers. In this fantasy story The sunflower Fountain is actually a famous painting that is hanging in the national museum of history..... He stole this painting from the museum and put this at the chair in the middle of his living room. The only thing that keeps him company in this foresty place are the snales, there are no windows in this home, so sometimes these sunflower leafs fly into the house and wonder around in silence. Bud than again, why is this painting sitting in the chair and not the man himself. Well he actually was so obsessed by this sunflowers that he became the painting......In my country , when your obsessed with something you say " Ik ga ergens in op " in english it says...you go into something...so that why he became the painting....and thats why there is no person in the scene itself, the scene has a great feeling of silence in here...the only activity are the leafes and the leaf that is in front of the camera creates more depth to the scene....Bud thats why this man is actualy

The Sunflower Fountain....

Hope you liked my version of the story...This is what i feel with this picture, bud everyone can feel what they want about it, thats the beauty of art....

You've done a very nice job on this scene! class A texturing and good atmosfear!

I do have a few crits tho, as said before the leaf close to the camera is a bit distracting, moving it to left will help a lot i think.
The leaves in the background have too much blur on them, it looks too strong for motion blur and considering their position they would be more in focus.
The snail in front of the chair does seem a bit big a to me but then again my knowledge about snails is quite limited :P

Btw did you do a lot of work in post on this?

Verder ontzettend gave plaatjes!

The leaves in the background have t..............
Thanks for comment. The leaf was further to the left in the beginning, bud the place where he is now was good to me, cause its making the depth and not covering too much of the scene, its perhaps not the best place indeed. And for the blur on the small leaves, again you right. But than again, some things i found better to make it more good for my feeling. Cause there sort of transparant and you feel they are flying there but there not to focuzed when you look at them. Your right, bud this works for me.About the size of the snail, in the wip thread also alot of people said this, even my girlfriend said that, bud than someone from columbia showed me a picture of a snail in his country that size. Its a fantasy scene bud than again it felt better knowing there are snails this size. Hope this helps Thanks for comment
