Hula's sketchbox...

Hey ho guys!

This is my 3D sketchbox dedicated to my 3D work and speed sculpts...
Some larger projects will still have their own threads like the project with Washka and Aby and different challenges and such.

C&C heavily appreciated

edit: Please do take time to check the newer pages as I will hopefully show some progress as I go on

Cool, thanks guys!! .

I have already lowered teh opacity of the detail layer a bit, but I can do it a bit more. Thing is though that I want him a bit raw and weathered even though he shall still carry an attitude. But yeah I could smooth out some areas .

So thought I'd share a some progress I've had on a monster for Arms Of Redemption... Also attaching the original concept from necronomicon...

The base was made by another guy on the team but I am continuing from where he left off since it wasn't finished and didn't really fit the concept...
Since the base model was a ztl I had to continue on from there as I didn't want to loose all of the details... So this is my first real model in ZB . Done some small doodles before with the zpheres but nothing else really.

More to come on this guy and critique is very welcome

edit: re upped the render...

Thanks guys . As I said I am continuing from the other model. They are definitely the next to go under the scalpel... I also need to change the neck and rework the thighs a bit.

Getting to grips with the tools in ZB now and I am beginning to like some of them more by the minute . Which I had the posing tool from MB though for the height change...

edit: Aby - the concept comes from a fan art of Necronomicon.. . Base model was passed on to me by agent-x

Ok team mate. I am going to point out some things to you to push you in the right dirrection for this model for our team.
1. focus on the anatomy. Just worry about the muscle groups. I would rather see the eaten up skin look I talked to you about removed by smoothing it out.
2. I talked to you about the head I want it to be more gorilla like. Look at the refference I passed you in the rar file. Basically kinda think of King Kong as a cyclops for the head but with with out the fur.
3. The feet are suppose to be more like hoofs. So he kinda suppose to walk on the ball and toes of his feet, while the ankle and heel are lifted up. So think more animal like with that.

Good luck bro and thanks. I appreciate your help.
